The University of Texas at Austin recognized BGKA architect Arturo Arredondo (center) for his work as
project manager on the recently completed Almetris Duren Residence Hall. Art's efforts, particularly
during the construction administration phase of the project, were so appreciated that he was given the
Team Player Award, which is normally reserved for university employees. The honor was bestowed
upon Art "in recognition and appreciation of outstanding contribution as a team player" and having
"gone aboveand beyond what is expected in order to benefit the greater cause of The University of
Texas at Austin". The six story, 588-bed Almetris Duren Residence Hall was completed in 2007.
